Here's a riddle:
What's the difference between momentum and moment-um?
I'm on the move, allowing each moment to lead me forward. If I turn off distractions and focus my attention, my movement turns into flow: I rise up to meet challenges with the confidence that I have the skill and wisdom to succeed. Each moment informs my next step. I keep going. With each um, I return to the moment.
I interrupt the flow of my moment. I'm on pause, stumped or stuck by "I don't know. I'm not sure." Um. I lose my place and my pace. "Where was I? Where was I going with this?" I use my "um" as a placeholder and hover over it; I'm not ready to give up the floor.
